Office/Department: Music
Description: This position will assist the Chair(s) of the Department of Music with the administration of the department including scheduling of all events and daily room requests in the PFAC, serving as the primary community contact for concerts and other Music department events, communicating with 40+ full and part-time employees, assisting with recruiting and recruiting-related events, and organizing all department record-keeping and documents. This includes budgets, work orders, music-related licensing, recitals, and concerts. Additionally, this position will work with all PFAC constituencies regarding facilities-related needs and concerns.
Requirements: The successful candidate will have a minimum of an associate degree and three to five years’ experience in an office setting. A background in music is preferred. The qualified candidate must possess a working knowledge of personal computers and Microsoft Office, and have the ability to read, analyze, and proofread letters and documents. A strong, demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the mission and vision of Grove City College is essential.
