Grove City College announces a faculty opening in the Department of Mathematics. Successful candidates should have a Ph.D. in Mathematics, Statistics, or Mathematics Education with a strong mathematics background. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in teaching mathematics courses for preservice teachers. Responsibilities include teaching mathematics courses at various levels and advising students.
Grove City College’s Department of Mathematics has three major programs of study, including Mathematics, Applied Statistics, and Mathematics leading to Secondary Education Certification, as well as a concentration in Actuarial Science. The department, which is part of a thriving school of science, engineering, and mathematics, has eight faculty members and over 40 majors.
Candidates must demonstrate a strong potential for excellence in classroom teaching and a commitment to educating highly motivated students within the context of Grove City College’s historic Christian perspective. Salary commensurate with qualifications.
