Position: Assistant/Associate/Full Professor of Management
Office/Department: Management and Marketing
Grove City College invites applications for a full-time management faculty position in the Department of Management and Marketing. The successful applicant will teach undergraduate courses and may have the opportunity to teach at the graduate level. The ideal candidate will demonstrate interest and effectiveness in teaching courses related to management in applied business contexts.
The successful candidate will have the ability to teach in one or more of the following areas: management (specifically principles of management), leadership, human resources, and supply chain management. The ability to teach courses in other areas such as statistics, and business analysis will be a strength, as will the interest and ability to teach online and graduate courses. A Ph.D. or D.B.A in a business-related field is preferred; a Master’s degree in a related field is the minimum qualification required to apply. Persons who possess significant work experience will receive preference, as will persons who have experience teaching in a graduate program. Salary commensurate with qualifications.Grove City College’s School of Business is accredited by ACBSP and includes four separate academic departments: Accounting and Finance, Economics, Entrepreneurship, and Management and Marketing.
The business program houses 14 major programs of study, 14 minors, 24 faculty, and approximately 500 students. The Department of Management and Marketing offers seven majors in Management, Human Resource Management, Marketing, International Business, Business Analysis, Business Statistics, and Supply Chain Management. The School of Business recently launched a fully on-line M.S. in Business Analytics program and a Master of Business Administration program. The successful candidate may have the opportunity to teach online undergraduate courses. Experience teaching courses in an online modality is an asset.
