FAQs

How do I list a position with the Career Services Office for students to see?
To post a job or internship opportunity, visit our online career management system, JobGrove. If you have already received access information, you will be able to log into the system. If you are new to the system, click the “register” link below the log-in boxes to begin the process. Once registered in the system and approved*, you will be able to post job and internship opportunities, request an on-campus recruiting visit and sign up for the annual Career Fair.

*PLEASE NOTE: Our office reserves the right to screen all contacts and organizations before “approving” them to utilize our job management system. You will receive an email from our office upon approval of your registration. Once approved, you will then be able to post opportunities for our students.

Will I be able to come to campus to interview students?
Yes, employers approved by our office, can interview students on-campus from September-November in the fall and February-April in the spring. To coordinate your on-campus visit, simply complete an on-campus interview schedule request through JobGrove. Our Office Manager, Linda Reash, will contact you to complete and finalize the details. If you have questions, please contact our office at 724-458-3371 or career@gcc.edu.

Where is the Career Services Office located?
We are located in the Physical Learning Center near the Student Union in the center of campus. Click here to view a map of the campus. The Career Services Office (located in building #9) faces Hoyt Hall (building #11). We have parking spaces designated for recruiters in the large lot behind the Physical Learning Center.

Is there is a fee to post positions to Grove City College students?
No, use of JobGrove is free to employers.

What kinds of career fairs are hosted at Grove City College?
Our signature event is the annual Career Fair which takes place every October (we do not host a spring event). See the Career Fair page for details. In addition, we host an annual Internship Fair in November, which provides an opportunity for students to serve as the representatives of the organizations where they completed internships. Finally, during February of each year, we host a Camp Fair that allows students to explore some fun and adventurous summer positions. We have partnered with Geneva College, Westminster College and Allegheny College to offer four fairs in the same week as a convenience to camp representatives.

How do I sign up for the annual Career Fair?
Please go to our Career Fair page for more information about the event and details on how to register.  To register online, please note you will need to log into JobGrove and complete the registration form found within the Career Fairs & Events tab.

PLEASE NOTE: For employers looking to recruit our students through this event, positions should be full-time entry level, salaried opportunities and/or internships (paid/unpaid) that are substantive in scope. Our office reserves the right to screen all organizations for participation in our event. You will receive an email from Career Services upon approval of your registration.
