Student Life

At Grove City College, student development is about much more than programs and residence life. It’s a holistic approach that, when coupled with your academic experience, will help you become the adult you want to be. From the supportive residence hall staff, to events that stretch your thinking, your faith and your relationships with your peers, the Office of Student Life and Learning is here to make your outside-of-the-classroom experience as valuable as the time you spend on your academics, as the two inform one another.

You’ll have access to a host of intramural sports and recreational activities, Bible studies, and activities with your fellow Grove City College students. The Grove City College experience is about getting a solid foundation in the humanities that made our society great; it’s about graduating with a command of your major field of study; but it’s also about leaving Grove City College a well-rounded individual who can impact the world.

  • I was aware that Grove City College was one of the most affordable private Christian colleges anywhere. But after visiting campus I knew it was the right place for me.

I wanted smaller classes where I’d be able to ask questions, collaborate, get to know my professors and have them get to know me. Grove City College’s low student-faculty ratio of 15:1 meant that I’d be in the type of environment where I knew I’d learn best.

She analyzes positions really well.”

  • I thought about attending an art school because I love to draw and paint. However, I knew I also wanted a place where I would be strengthened in my Christian faith. I wanted to learn from professors with Christian worldviews and get connected to an encouraging community.

Grove City College has lived up to my expectations.  I’ve been able grow in my faith through genuine relationships with my friends and professors. And as a Communications Studies major with a Studio Art minor, I’m...Read More

  • I wanted to go to a Christian college, but one that gave me the freedom to express my faith in my own way. I also wanted a like-minded community of friends who I could learn from and spend time with.

A real sense of being part of a community is very important to me — both at home and at college. At home, I’m a volunteer firefighter and an EMT.
And at College, I’m very involved in campus life. I’m the drum major of the marching band and I play in the Grove City College Jazz ...Read More
