Biology Major Leading to 7-12 Certification in Biology and General Science​​​

Students studying biology at Grove City College may also prepare for careers in teaching and education by majoring in biology leading to 7-12 certification in biology and general science. Students complete courses unique to the biology major while fulfilling the required liberal arts and education core.

In addition to the 102 credit hours of major coursework, students participate in real-life teaching situations during field experiences and student teaching.
