The most recent accreditation decision made by the ACEN Board of Commissioners for the Bachelor of Science in Nursing Program is Initial Accreditation.

The completion rate for the RN to BSN program for 2024 was 100%.

The completion rate for the RN to BSN program for 2025 was 71%.

Graduates who obtained any form of Registered Nurse employment within six months of graduating from the BSN program are considered employed. Based on the number of responses to the 2024 and 2025 Johnson School of Nursing graduate survey, the employment rate was 100%.

ACEN Mission

Accreditation is a peer-review, self-regulatory process by which non-governmental associations recognize educational institutions or programs that have been found to meet or exceed standards and criteria for educational quality. Accreditation also assists in the further improvement of the institutions or programs as related to resources invested, processes followed, and results achieved. The monitoring of certificate, diploma, and degree offerings is tied closely to state examination and licensing rules and to the oversight of preparation for work in the profession.

PUBLIC NOTICE of UPCOMING ACCREDITATION REVIEW VISIT BY THE ACEN
The Grove City College Johnson School of Nursing wishes to announce that it will host a site visit for continuing accreditation of its RN-BSN nursing program by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN).

You are invited to meet with the site visit team and share your comments about the program in person at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, March 17, 2026 in room 350 D of the STEM building located at 100 Campus Drive, Grove City, PA.

Written comments are also welcome and should be submitted to the ACEN via email at public-comments@acenursing.org or to the ACEN office.
