Nick Hildebrand / Tuesday, February 27, 2018 / Categories: All News, Education, Mathematics Math Blast 2018 equals fun Grove City College’s 2018 Math Blast is set for Saturday, March 17 in the Hall of Arts and Letters on the campus of Grove City College. Math Blast provides fun and innovative math lessons to children in kindergarten through eighth grade. It is free and open to the public. All of the sessions are taught by Grove City College education students, who volunteer their time to prepare and teach interactive lessons. More than a dozen different, grade-level classes are offered, with each child participating in two different classes. They include: Noah’s Ark Addition, Probability Playground, Math with Monet, Secret Codes, M&M Math, Graphing with Skittles, Fantastic Fractals and Hexaflexagons. Registration begins at 9 a.m. in the atrium of the Hall of Arts and letters, with the first session beginning at 9:30 a.m. and the second at 10:30 a.m. There is no preregistration.
