Abbi Nicolella / Monday, April 24, 2017 / Categories: All News, Campus, Student Life, Academics, Arts & Letters, Music Choirs take on ‘Requiem,’ honor retiring organist The Grove City College Chapel and Touring choirs will perform Maurice Duruflé’s “Requiem” at 4:30 p.m. Sunday, April 30 in Harbison Chapel on campus. The choirs will be accompanied by Dr. Richard Konzen, longtime College Organist and Professor of Music. It will mark Konzen’s final performance as a faculty member with the choirs, since he is retiring at the end of the academic year. Duruflé was an organist and his beautiful work is a showcase for both singers and the instrument. The choirs are directed by Dr. Katherine Mueller, assistant professor of music.
