The Department of Biblical and Religious Studies at Grove City College prepares students for a number of careers, including missions, ministry and academia. Students receive a careful and thoughtful introduction to the essential ideas of western civilization integrated with a Christian faith perspective.
The Department encourages critical and analytical thinking that assesses biblical, theological and ministry issues and concerns while inviting interaction with and sensitivity to differing perspectives. Additionally, the Department teaches three of the six humanities core courses and the studies in science, faith and technology that help fulfill the general education requirements. Courses in the biblical languages, Hebrew and Greek are also offered.
