Students face an array of choices and opportunities that lie
before them. Academic advising assists students in making important decisions
regarding their academic program and long-range vocational and life goals.
Our faculty advisors play a formative role in helping
students assess and weigh their options, get critical pieces of information,
and grow in their ability to make wise decisions in light of some of the big
issues that college students typically face.
The overall mission of the Academic Resource Center is to
help students make wise choices about the details and direction of their
program of study in light of their vocation and professional ambitions.
