The Department of Computer Science at Grove City College offers students the opportunity to perform independent or collaborative research projects guided by an experienced faculty member. Recent student projects have considered advanced computer game design, interactive graphics, and mobile data communication systems. Collaborative research projects with faculty have included work in computer graphics and visualization and software-defined radio.
The Bachelor of Science degree in computer information systems is an interdisciplinary program that prepares student to facilitate the development of computer utilization, databases and information systems to satisfy the requirements and needs of organizational management.
Many of our students intern with technology companies and businesses across the country. Recently, students have interned at PPG, B3 Solutions, BAE Systems and TrueFit Solutions.
