Joscelyn Seaton ’16, a biochemistry major from Waynesboro, Va., spent the summer of 2015 in Basel, Switzerland, as a research intern with Hoffmann-La Roche Pharmaceuticals.
There she worked on cancer-fighting drugs and gained an enormous respect for what it takes to produce a pharmaceutical drug. Her eventual goal is to become a medical doctor.
