We recognize that some students are having difficulty scheduling a test in this challenging COVID-19 environment. Therefore, Grove City College will not require college entrance exams for fall 2021 admission or scholarship consideration.
However, if you have taken or are scheduled to take an SAT, ACT, or CLT test, we encourage you to still submit your test scores. These scores are a valuable component of our admissions advising process to help students succeed upon eventual enrollment. Students who are unable to submit test scores will not be at a disadvantage when applying for admission and scholarships. Grove City College has always reviewed applicants holistically, considering academic abilities, extracurricular and leadership experiences, and Christian values and character.
Although tests are not required, if you haven’t been able to take a test and would still like to, we are continuing to offer a free virtual college entrance exam. The Classic Learning Test—an approved alternative to the SAT/ACT—is being offered online on October 10. This opportunity is free if you submit your admissions application to Grove City College by October 5.
First step: Submit an admissions application
The online application alone can and should be submitted as soon as possible so that we can learn about your interests, connect you with faculty and others on campus, and begin advocating for your scholarship and admission consideration.
Next step: Submit these requirements by your selected application deadline
We strongly recommend that you visit campus and interview with an admissions counselor who is eager to know you on a deeper level and advocate for your scholarship and admission consideration.
If you are prepared to make a binding commitment to Grove City College as your first-choice school, we encourage you to apply under Early Decision. You should not apply under Early Decision unless you fully expect to accept an admission offer from Grove City College. Read more about Early Decision to determine if it’s right for you.
REGULAR DECISION II
TRANSFER APPLICANTS: Rolling Admission
Students who are undecided about their major may select either "Undeclared – Liberal Arts" or "Undeclared – Sciences." While several majors have a tight, eight-semester curriculum, others are more flexible and may be declared during a student’s freshman year or by the end of sophomore year—by which point most of our undeclared students easily find their fit. Find out more about being an undeclared liberal arts or sciences student.
A payment of $250 is required of every applicant to officially accept admission to the College. This deposit is nonrefundable if the applicant later decides not to enroll at the College during the year for which he or she was accepted.
