No matter your calling, our four-year ABET-accredited program will prepare you with the knowledge, experience, and vision to become an effective and ethical leader. You’ll gain the well-rounded skill set you need to thrive professionally and socially. You’ll also grow to approach engineering as a creative way to solve problems and help others.

Our highly structured program ensures that you get a broad, thorough foundation in engineering with freedom to personalize your experience through optional minors and the senior capstone design project — enhanced by a fully equipped machine shop and 3D printing facility at your fingertips. 

Implemented in real-world situations, team projects allow you to strengthen your skills and develop your passions within engineering. Throughout your four years, you will be stretched academically and given the background you need to pass the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) and Professional Engineering (PE) exams (critical for certain engineering positions). Additionally, our humanities core will broaden your intellect, strengthen your faith, and cultivate excellent critical thinking and communication skills — all of which unlock leadership positions in the field.  

When it comes to helping you reach your goals, our distinguished and accessible faculty serve as intentional guides and mentors — a big benefit of attending a small school where faculty prioritize your personal well-being and success. You’ll be assigned a faculty mentor to guide you throughout your college career. Accomplished in diverse areas of engineering and grounded in Truth, our faculty live what they teach and will lead you to pursue your calling with conviction. In addition to engaging lectures and classroom discussions, faculty offer individual guidance and facilitate networking opportunities with successful alumni, professionals, and companies around the country.

To gain professional experience, you will have opportunities to pursue internships through company campus visits and our career fair that brings in more than 150 eager recruiters each year. You can also participate in independent and group research projects guided by faculty. Additionally, you’ll be able to further build community and gain leadership experience on campus through various student-led organizations like the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE), American Society of Heating, Refrigeration, and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE), Engineers with a Mission (EWM), and Society of Women Engineers (SWE).

Like 95% of our graduates, you will be ready to land competitive positions and immediately make an impact when you leave Grove City College. You may also be interested in pursuing graduate-level education, which has led some of our highest-achieving students to Princeton, MIT, Carnegie Mellon, and UVA, among others. U.S. News & World Report has regularly recognized Grove City College’s Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering programs among the top 100 nationally for undergraduate studies.
