You and your fellow engineering students will work in groups to design and construct a useful and marketable device considering social and environmental impact, product packaging, production facilities and methods, and safety concerns. Extensive computer-aided design and manufacturing include the use of Creo to develop, analyze, and fabricate designs. Advanced manufacturing techniques include conventional and investment casting, injection molding, CNC machining, and TIG/MIG welding. Many of our students’ capstone projects are industry-sponsored, while others are done in partnership with internal Grove City College clients or with a missional focus. Recent partners include Kodiak Aircraft and BPMI, among others. Some of our students even built the first electric Baja car in the country!
