To earn a minor in economics, students must complete Economics 101, 102, and 120 as well as 12 additional credit hours in Economics. The minor equips students with an excellent foundation to understand and apply economic theory in contemporary society, serving as an excellent complement to any other field of study.

Students complete 18 credit hours of course requirements to minor in sociology. The program provides a foundational understanding of the pertinent theories, methods, and research findings of sociology and prepares students to relate sociological knowledge to their primary field of study.
