The Provost’s Scholarship consists of two different award tiers: a $6,000 scholarship or a $4,000 scholarship.
Provost Scholarship Tier A: If you’ve demonstrated academic excellence with an SAT super score of 1300-1399, a CLT super score of 92-99, or an ACT super score of 28-30, and you’ve maintained a 3.5 high-school GPA, your achievements will be awarded $6,000 annually, provided you maintain a 3.3 cumulative GPA.
Provost Scholarship Tier B: If you’ve demonstrated academic excellence with an SAT super score of 1250-1299, a CLT super score of 88-91, or an ACT super score of 27, and you’ve maintained a 3.5 high-school GPA, you will be awarded $4,000 annually, provided you maintain a 3.3 cumulative GPA.
These scholarships can be combined with need-based financial aid, outside scholarships, and state grants up to the full cost of attendance (need-based and merit-based aid can only be combined up to the cost of tuition). They cannot, however, be combined with the Trustee Scholarship, President’s Scholarship or the Academic Excellence Alumni Merit Scholarship. To apply for need-based financial aid, you must submit the CSS Profile. Qualified students will be notified of a provisional awarding of the scholarship after acceptance, pending receipt of a final high school transcript displaying a 3.5 or greater high school GPA.
Provost’s Scholars must apply for admission by January 31 and submit their enrollment deposit by March 1. Your scholarship eligibility will be based on test scores and transcripts submitted by January 31. Test scores submitted after January 31 will not be considered.
Transfers who graduated in spring 2026 or after will qualify based on test scores and GPA from their senior year of high school.
