Welcome to Grove City College! It can be difficult to describe what makes this place so special. So, instead, let me tell you a story about the first time I visited Grove City.
I was a sophomore in high school. My dad and I wandered around the beautiful campus, enjoying the bright fall colors, thick grass, and stately brick buildings. At some point, we lost our sense of direction and must have looked confused, because we heard a pleasant voice nearby asking, “Can I help you find anything?” When we turned around, there was a shoeless student smiling up at us from a blanket on the grass. When we asked for directions to the student union, she leapt up and smiled, “I’ll take you there!” And she did. In bare feet. All the way across campus. From that moment, I knew I wanted to attend a college where the students were enthusiastic and kind, willing to put others before themselves, living out their faith in all they do. When I became a student at Grove City College, I experienced firsthand this vibrant, supportive community where I could learn, grow, and thrive.
At Grove City College, you can find a sense of belonging and be deeply known by your friends, professors, and college staff. Faith and academics are richly entwined, so that you will not only see God’s heart in your particular area of study, but also in your humanities and science core classes, the combination of which is the beauty of a liberal arts education. While you flourish academically, you can also be stretched to know God in many new ways as you get involved in campus organizations and ministries.
For me, Grove City was a place to pursue my calling. As you embark on your own college search, I would love to help in any way I can, from answering your questions and coming alongside you throughout the application process to ultimately helping you discover your calling as you consider Grove City College as your potential best fit.
I was born in Lebanon, PA and I grew up in several places including Waynesboro, PA and Frederick, MD. My family now lives in Charles Town, WV. I was homeschooled and I graduated from Grove City College in 2018 with a B.A. in Communication Studies and minors in Music, Biblical and Religious Studies, and Classical Studies. I have always had a desire to serve God overseas, and someday I hope to be a long-term missionary to unreached peoples. I love music, delicious food, and chocolate milk. My favorite author is Elizabeth Elliot.

The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. “The Lord is my portion,” says my soul, “therefore I will hope in him.” - Lamentations 3:22-23
