Join members of the Grove City College community at a Showcase Series’ holiday concert featuring Ireland’s own Keith and Kristyn Getty at The Benedum Center in Pittsburgh.
A select number of tickets for the Gettys’ eighth annual tour of Sing! An Irish Christmas at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 12 are available to purchase at group discount prices via the College’s Office of Alumni and College Relations at alumni.gcc.edu/getty19
Known for modern hymns and carols such as “In Christ Alone,” the Gettys are joined by their band of virtuosic instrumentalists fusing Celtic, bluegrass, Americana, modern and classical music along with Irish dancing and the choral sounds of the holiday.
Alumni and friends of the College with tickets to the show can join hosts President Paul J. McNulty ’80 and first lady Brenda (Millican ’80) McNulty at 5 p.m. for an appetizer and cash bar reception prior to the concert at Butcher & the Rye, 212 6th St, Pittsburgh, just a few steps from the theater. Register for the mixer and purchase tickets online soon – the deadline to order is noon on Nov. 15.
