Children’s Theater brings 'Madagascar' to stage

Grove City College’s Theatre Program presents the Hilda Adams Kring Children's Theater production of “Madagascar: A Musical Adventure” at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 11 and Friday, April 12 and 10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 13 in Ketler Auditorium of the Pew Fine Arts Center on campus.

The show is free and open to the public. No tickets are required for attendance.

Based on the popular DreamWorks animated movie, “Madagascar: A Musical Adventure” follows a group of animal friends as they escape from their home in New York’s Central Park Zoo. Through fun musical numbers that will delight audiences, the show tells an exciting story of their journey into the wild world of Madagascar.

Each spring, the Theatre Program Theatre Program at Grove City College produces a show geared to entertain the region’s children. Local schools send groups of students to the College during the school day to see special performances and the production is mounted on evenings and weekends for the general public.
