Title: Staff Assistant Office/Department: Registrar’s Office Description: The Staff Assistant will provide administrative support primarily to the Registrar’s Office but also to other offices within the Academic Resource Center (ARC) as directed. The Staff Assistant will be the first point of contact for the ARC. Responsibilities include working closely with the Registrar and Assistant Registrar in the operation of the Registrar’s Office, acting professionally in answering the phone, mail, and personal visits from faculty, students, parents, and other campus visitors. Perform multi-task functions on a computer, such as transcript processing, course registration, and document scanning, using the Jenzabar EX Software, as well as Microsoft Office products, such as Word and Excel.
Requirements: Three years of office experience in a college environment is essential, with a good understanding of the higher education process and procedure. A high school degree is required, and a two-year business degree is preferred. The successful candidate will be highly organized. A strong, demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the Christian mission and vision of Grove City College are essential.
