Title: Lead Outreach Associate

Description: This position will work with the Senior Director of Development to identify and engage new potential major donors and to grow and manage the donor pipeline. Duties include but are not limited to utilizing a robust tech-enabled donor discovery and automated cultivation tool and dashboard to qualify, prioritize, and cultivate major donors and legacy supporters. Coordinate survey launches and other digital donor offerings with the Advancement Services team with the goal of increasing the overall number of people engaging. Engage prospects by phone, email, and video for the purposes of qualification. Assist with caseload population and monitor the pipeline which accounts for where every prospect resides in their consideration continuum, paints a more accurate picture of the value of each gift officer’s pipeline, and helps the Senior Director of Development identify friction points and obstacles that need to be overcome. Execute special major donor and prospect stewardship and engagement including the creation of scholarship impact reports, birthday cards, gift anniversary celebrations, and other special touchpoints. Assist with contributing ideas for engagement and stewardship of Ketler Society, Leaders Club, and Faith and Freedom Society members. Fulfill Faith and Freedom Society welcome packets and coordinate quarterly communications with Charitable Gift Annuity and Trust beneficiaries.
Requirements: This position requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field. The ideal candidate should possess knowledge of the principles of fundraising and practical fundraising (or closely related) experience. In addition, the successful candidate must have excellent oral and written communication skills. Must be a team player and possess strong organizational and computer skills. A strong, demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the mission and vision of Grove City College is essential.
