To increase student interest in your organization, we encourage you to build your brand presence on campus and online. We provide many opportunities for you to get involved as indirectly or directly as you would like - you may post jobs and internships in Handshake or recruit face-to-face via our On-Campus/Online Recruiting Program (on-site or online interviews) or our signature Career Fair.
Information sessions give you a chance to meet with our students in person or online and share information about your organization and the jobs and internships opportunities you have available. Many employers conduct information sessions on campus or online in advance of or in lieu of an interview day with students.
Unable to make it to campus? Consider hosting a site visit through our CareerBRIDGE Program (Building Relationships Inspiring Development Gaining Experience). There is no better way for students to learn about an organization, its people, and its culture than to experience it first-hand. Site visits are essentially on-site information sessions at your organization. Our students value the chance to meet employers, tour their facilities, and gain insights that can be used to strengthen their job applications and career development. They can also consider scheduling a “day in the life” session, employer panel or company tour for students virtually through a platform of their choosing.
Conducting a workshop on a career topic such as job search techniques, resume writing, networking, or interviewing is another excellent way to connect with students outside of the classroom. Interested employers can contact us to schedule a time. We will then work with you on targeting specific student populations and guiding you on what topics would be most beneficial to our students depending on their industry, time of year, expertise, etc.
We also welcome you to share your advice, knowledge, and expertise in the classroom. This option allows you to naturally market your organization to specific majors while enhancing classroom learning, complimenting our faculty's teaching, and providing real-world application. Note: Due to the academic rigor of Grove City College, please understand that it may be difficult for faculty to give up course time. This option is not a guarantee for all classes or faculty; it is ultimately up the faculty member's decision.
