You can have a Grove City College experience as unique and enriching as your homeschool education! Discover a higher purpose for higher education where you will continue your rigorous academic pursuits with a classical focus, gain Christian wisdom, and discover God’s calling for your life!

At this open house you'll meet with faculty, engage with current students from homeschool backgrounds, visit a class, take a tour of campus, and experience student life at Grove City College. You’ll also get to enjoy campus dining on us (provided for you and up to four guests). Come for the day or make it a weekend!

Anticipated Schedule*

• 8:30 a.m. Registration in Pew Fine Arts Center. 
• 9 a.m. Welcome, prayer, and introductions. 
• 10 a.m. Students: Attend a class.
  • Parents: Enjoy hearing from a panel of current Grove City College students and faculty with homeschool backgrounds. 
• 11 a.m. Build Your Own Morning: Choose to attend Chapel, attend a Christian Formation Office Presentation, view a Financial Aid Video Presentation, or view a Career Services Video Presentation. 
• 12 p.m. Lunch with current GCC students from homeschool backgrounds in Hicks Cafe. 
• 1 p.m. Students: Enjoy hearing from a panel of current GCC students with homeschool backgrounds.
  • Parents: Attend a Higher Purpose for Higher Education Session. 
• 2 to 3 p.m. Educational Exploration Options. 
• 2, 2:30 or 3 p.m. Campus Tour. 

Optional Activities 

• 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Visit the Grove City College Bookstore. 
• 6 to 8:30 p.m. Movie and Games in Staley Hall of Arts & Letters. 
• 6:30 p.m. Women’s Volleyball vs. Washington & Jefferson College in Physical Learning Center, Arena. 
• 7:30 p.m. Orchestra & Wind Ensemble Concert in Pew Fine Arts Center. 

*Students will receive a packet of information at registration with the final event program.

Weekend Activities on Campus

Saturday, October 10

• 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. STEM Discovery Day in Pew Fine Arts Center. 
• 7 p.m. Marching Band Festival at Thorn Field. 

Monday, October 12 

• 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Music Major Day in Pew Fine Arts Center.
