As part of the celebration of Grove City College’s 150th anniversary, we have created the Celebrate 150 Campus History Tour, covering campus landmarks and highlighting the College’s rich history and unique culture.
The tour features a dozen stops on the 180-acre campus that exemplify the College’s growth over a century and a half, from a rented schoolhouse in downtown Grove City, Pa., to one of the nation’s top Christian liberal arts and sciences colleges.
Stops include Carnegie Alumni Center and Rainbow Bridge on Lower Campus to Upper Campus icons like Harbison Chapel, Mary Anderson Pew dormitory, Staley Hall, and the recently rededicated Smith Hall of Science and Technology.
Each stop features a video explaining its history and significance to the College’s story.
You take the tour in person, scanning the QR codes on signs placed at each building and landmark, or check it out online at https://www.gcc.edu/Celebrate-150/Campus-History-Tour.
