For students called to lead at the intersection of accounting and finance, the double major in accounting and finance is a powerful way to build expertise in both domains – opening doors across public accounting, corporate finance, investment management, and beyond.
This combination also provides an excellent path toward the 150 credit hours required for CPA licensure in select states, making it a strategic choice for students interested in that credential. Designed to be completed in four years through regular semesters alongside winter and summer coursework, including internships for credit. If you arrive at Grove City College with AP credits or other college credits, you may find this program well suited for your timeline and goals.

“The Department of Accounting does a great job of preparing students for the CPA exam. Because of the strong academic foundation I’d been given at Grove City College, I was able to pass all of my CPA exams within the first six months out of college and obtain my CPA license shortly thereafter.”— Julie Apple Walker ’13, B.S. in Accounting, B.S. in Finance READ MORE>>
