7. Grove City College to offer graduate level programs

New master’s degree programs in business and engineering to launch in 2021

As one of America’s premier undergraduate institutions, Grove City College announced that it will embark upon a Master of Science in Business Analytics degree program and a Master of Engineering in Systems Engineering & Technology Management degree program, beginning fall 2021.

“With these new programs, the College is advancing its mission to prepare strong and ethical leaders through advanced studies in business and engineering,” said President Paul J. McNulty ’80. “We are excited about the continuing growth of the College into new areas,” said McNulty, noting that “each of these graduate programs can be completed in as little as one year with tuition rates far less than state and national averages for similar degrees.”

• Master of Science in Business Analytics – The demand for business analytics professionals is growing and it is hard to imagine a sector of the economy that does not face strategic challenges that data can help inform.

The 30-credit online Master of Science in Business Analytics degree affords graduates a wide variety of opportunities in business, healthcare, entrepreneurship and many other fields, serving in roles such as computer systems, management and operations research analysts, logisticians, data scientists and data engineers. Business analytics graduates often work in a variety of sectors such as the oil and gas industry, construction, retail, manufacturing, marketing and more.

• Master of Engineering in Systems Engineering & Technology Management – Engineers and computer scientists who can design, analyze and manage intricate methods and procedures are in increasing demand, and systems engineering is a fast-growing, multi-disciplinary field that provides the expertise to analyze complex systems.

The 30-credit Master of Engineering in Systems Engineering & Technology Management is designed to equip students to take on critical technical leadership positions. Systems engineering graduates are recruited for positions across industries including software development, computer hardware engineering, academia, government and industrial research, component manufacturing and system innovation and integration.

The College has recently been accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education to award master’s degrees.
