Position: Full-time Assistant Volleyball Coach/Part-time Director of Student Recreation

Description: This position will have the responsibility of assisting the varsity volleyball program, including, but not limited to, recruiting, film breakdown, advanced scouting, game planning, practice planning, motivation, and fostering a Christian atmosphere that seeks excellence in all that it does.
Additionally, this position will be responsible for providing direction and oversight to all non-varsity, student recreation opportunities, which include intramural and club sports, that contribute to a healthy lifestyle of Grove City College students and will have oversight of the Student Recreation student leadership team.
Requirements: The qualified candidate must possess a bachelor’s degree. However, a master’s degree in student development, intercollegiate athletics, or related field is preferred. Must have a minimum of two (2) years’ experience coaching high school/college volleyball and/or collegiate playing experience and experience working with college students in a student development/recreation capacity. Must have valid driver’s license.
A strong, demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the mission and vision of Grove City College is essential.
