What are some of the ways you were spiritually engaged while at GCC?
I was able to grow in my faith immensely at Grove City College. Weekly bible studies and prayer with brothers within my housing group, and a strong local church allowed me to be spurred on in my faith and encouraged in ways I would never have imagined.
How would you describe the level of academics you have experienced during your time at GCC?
Faculty encourage students to think about the course at hand and become deeply versed in the subject matter. I found a passion for accounting and was able to build a deep skillset of knowledge all while learning to approach real-world problems through faith-informed decision models. Employers today are seeking well-rounded individuals, and Grove City prepares students for the practical and the technical.
What is the relationship like between the students and the professors?
With an excellent faculty-student ratio, developing a relationship with professors is not only possible, but is encouraged and deeply enhances the experience of learning at Grove City. This ratio also means that professors are easily accessible via office hours and are happy to work with students 1:1 to truly help them master the subject.
What do you find to be the most unique aspect of Grove City College?
The most unique aspect of Grove City College is the community. It may take some adjustment at first as you learn a new life away from family, but quickly Grove City starts to feel like home. The people here are extraordinary and their commitment to students makes the experience here very rare.
How would you describe the relationship that the students have with each other on campus?
Relationships formed on campus at Grove City College are truly special. Everyone at GCC wishes to make you feel welcome, and you’ll quickly be able to find others with similar interests through Greek life, social clubs, sports, and so many other outlets for community. Grove City College has brought me my best friends, and not just friends for a season, but friends that will be by my side through life’s journey.
