Grove City College celebrates Family Weekend

Students, parents, families and the Grove City College community will gather Friday, May 5, through Sunday, May 7, to mark Family Weekend and the 60th anniversary of All-College Sing.

Family Weekend celebrates the cumulative academic, service, musical, athletic and social achievements of students throughout the academic school year and honors the parents and families who support and encourage students along the way. Highlights include musical and theater performances, academic open houses, celebrations that appeal to generations of Grovers, All-College Sing, the annual Spring Dance Company Show and more.

All-College Sing was established in 1957 as Greek Sing, a friendly competition between the College’s fraternities and sororities. In 1973 the event was opened to the entire campus community, including independent men’s groups and non-affiliated women’s groups, and renamed. Alumni through the years hold dear the memories of this event and current students are ready to impress the audience with their talent and wit. All-College sing will be held at 7 p.m. Saturday, May 6, in the Arena of the Physical Learning Center on campus.
