College to host Education Major Day on Saturday, Oct. 8

Grove City College will host an Education Major Day from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 8, 2016, in the Hall of Arts and Letters on campus.

This admissions open house is designed for high school students interested in elementary education, special education, middle level education, secondary level education and K-12 teaching licenses. Prospective students will learn how Grove City College equips students with the skills to be certified teachers and lifelong educators-in public and private schools.

The day will include presentations from faculty, interaction with current students, information shared by alumni and an education major fair where prospective students can learn more about individual programs, student clubs and other aspects of the College’s education program.

“We thoroughly enjoyed our time, especially the student roundtables. It was nice to hear some of their experiences and how they felt Grove City College has provided the tools they need to enjoy success in life, not just in their careers,” a visiting parent said about last year’s Education Major Day.
