Choirs take on ‘Requiem,’ honor retiring organist

The Grove City College Chapel and Touring choirs will perform Maurice Duruflé’s “Requiem” at 4:30 p.m. Sunday, April 30 in Harbison Chapel on campus.

The choirs will be accompanied by Dr. Richard Konzen, longtime College Organist and Professor of Music. It will mark Konzen’s final performance as a faculty member with the choirs, since he is retiring at the end of the academic year. Duruflé was an organist and his beautiful work is a showcase for both singers and the instrument.

The choirs are directed by Dr. Katherine Mueller, assistant professor of music.

The concert is free and open to the public. For more information, please contact 724-458-2088
