A valuable lesson I learned from “Leaf by Niggle” (a wonderful short story by J.R.R. Tolkien) is that in the Kingdom of God, every little moment we experience and task we accomplish, though seemingly small at the time, is an important part of the larger picture of history and equally important in the grand scheme of God's plan. In this vast and diverse world, each of us—no matter our background or ability—has great value and potential as an image bearer of God. At Grove City College I found a community where that conviction was lived out—where faculty and staff care deeply about students as individuals with unique gifts and potential to thrive. Now that I’m back at the Grove serving on staff, I’m thankful for the opportunity to help guide prospective students like you as you discover your calling, and I strive to follow the example of the professors, mentors, and friends who invested in my intellectual and spiritual growth throughout college.

About Me
I transferred to Grove City College, commuted, had a job on campus, served as an RA, joined a fraternity, and am now back  as part of the admissions staff. Needless to say, I've experienced many different aspects of the College and have been cared for and loved well at every turn. My time here and the relationships that came out of it have challenged me to strive for excellence, abide in Christ, and invest in fellowship. As a Christian who found his faith during college, I have  been deeply blessed by Grove City and hope to serve this community in the same ways that it served me.

Favorite Scripture Passage
“And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.” – I Corinthians 13:13

Favorite College Memory
Spending time with the men in my fraternity—from morning Bible studies to performing at All-College Sing with our winning rendition of “Robin Hood: Men in Tights.” For me, those men were and continue to be a great source of Christ-centered community.
