What is your educational background?
- B.S. and M.S. in Electrical Engineering from West Virginia University, Ph.D. Electrical and Computer Engineering from Ohio University
- B.S. in Mineral Preparation Engineering and M.S. in Mining Engineering from Penn State University
What are the main focuses of your research?
Antennas for the medium-frequency and high-frequency bands.
What specific courses or specialties do you teach?
Two-semester sequence in Electromagnetics, two-semester sequence in electronics, radio-frequency engineering, electrical machines and transformers, junior-year labs.
In your opinion, what is the most important piece of advice you give your students to help them succeed?
Each student should seek God’s will for their life. I often read Scripture at the start of each class, and this is a good time to speak to them about the importance of doing God’s will.
