About Me
Hello! My name is Sarah (Whitfield) Bock. I graduated from Grove City College a semester early in December 2025. I never would have believed that within six months I would have returned to work as an Admissions Counselor! It’s been quite the journey. My time at GCC was foundational to the person that I have become. The spiritual formation that I experienced on campus, not only propelled my relationship with God, but also left me with lifelong spiritual friends and mentors that are truly invaluable. I recently got married in March 2026 to my best friend (yes, he also went to GCC), and my life is so full of blessings both seen and unseen.
When I applied for GCC, I was an elementary education major. Before even stepping foot on campus, I changed my major to Undeclared. I knew I liked the Liberal Arts, but I had no clue where to begin. My academic advisor was so patient and helpful, and I was put into different electives to help explore more interests of mine. By the middle of sophomore year, I had officially declared my B.A. of Psychology major, and I was off and running. Eventually, I added a Biblical and Religious Studies minor, which I completed before I even began my junior year! I completed two internships for two different majors during two summers at GCC. I am so excited to see how God uses me and my experiences to help, inform, and aid others in their college search!
