Princeton Review ranks Grove City College a ‘Best Value’

The Princeton Review designated Grove City College as one of its Best Value Colleges for 2025, placing the College among a select group of higher education institutions that offer a valuable education and a great return on investment.

Just 209, or 5%, of the nation’s nearly 4,000 degree-granting institutions earned best value status, which is based on more than 40 data points that cover academics, affordability, career preparation, and alumni salary data.

Schools that made the cut earned the highest return on investment (ROI) ratings. Grove City College’s ROI rating of 89 – out of 99 – is based on academic selectivity and admissions, student surveys, financial aid awards, cost of attendance, student debt, and data from PayScale.com collected from alumni surveys covering starting and mid-career salaries and job satisfaction.

Best Value Colleges “offer outstanding academics and excellent career services. They also demonstrate extraordinary commitments to affordability via generous financial aid and/or comparatively low sticker prices. We commend them for all that they do to help students afford to attend them and we recommend them highly to college applicants,” Princeton Review Editor-in-Chief Rob Franek said.

Long-known for its commitment to affordability, Grove City College’s annual tuition of $22,570 is well-below the cost of comparative private colleges and most students receive need- or merit-based aid. Within six months of graduation, 95% of alumni are employed or pursuing graduate degrees. Alumni earnings are in the top 14% nationally, according to PayScale, which reports an average career salary of $70,000, mid-career earnings of $132,700 and a 20-year-ROI of $560,000.

In addition to Grove City College’s Best Value status, it is one of The Princeton Review’s “The Best 390 Colleges.” To see the College’s profile, visit princetonreview.com/college/grove-city-college.
