College to observe 15th anniversary of Sept. 11 at vesper service

Grove City College will mark the 15th anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks on the United States at a special vesper service at 6:30 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 11, 2016, in Harbison Chapel on campus.

College President Paul J. McNulty ’80 will provide a first-hand perspective on the events of that fateful day in history when he was in service as principal associate deputy attorney general in the U.S. Department of Justice in Washington D.C. Three days after the attacks, the U.S. Senate approved McNulty as U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia. His office directed the prosecution of Zacarias Moussaoui and other notable terrorism suspects tied to the Sept. 11 tragedy.
