Grove City College, WKBN team up for weather coverage

Grove City College will make its debut this week on WKBN 27 First News with live weather camera coverage from high atop the Rockwell Hall of Science.

First News Meteorologist Paul Wetzl will broadcast live from campus Thursday, Oct. 27, during the 5 and 6 p.m. news to introduce the CBS affiliate’s viewers to the station’s latest remote 24-hour weather camera location.

The camera will provide live coverage of weather in the Grove City area and expansive views of campus during news broadcasts and around the clock on wkbn.com.

The partnership between the College and WKBN will enhance the station’s coverage and raise the regional profile of Grove City College.

“Grove City College is so looking forward to this important partnership with WKBN bringing weather news from the College to northwestern Pennsylvania and eastern Ohio viewers like never before,” Jacki Muller, senior director of Marketing and Communications for Grove City College said.
