In your opinion, what is the most important piece of advice you give your students to help them succeed?
Always be curious—there are so many interesting things to learn. Something doesn’t have to directly relate to your major for it to be of value to you as a person. For Civilization and the Arts in particular, I hope to demonstrate how being attentive to the beauty found in art and music can enrich our lives.
