Title: Social Media Content Coordinator

Description: This Social Media Content Coordinator will be responsible for generating robust multi-media content across multiple social media channels and supporting departmental efforts across website, social media, traditional media, electronic and print communications, photojournalism, and video demands. This position will render support to college-wide communications demands that contribute to favorable reputation; deliver on enrollment/giving indicators; media interest; position specific college initiatives in the context of our value proposition; and ensure consistent messaging and narratives across all channels and audiences. Develop and maintain a robust calendar and measure channel success via monthly analytics reports. Assist with other departmental needs such as copywriting, photography, graphic design duties, as assigned, to meet digital needs.
Requirements: This position requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field and familiarity with a variety of communications platforms (print, web, social, video, photography, media relations). Professional experience in content creation, preferably in a coordinator or production role in higher education and knowledgeable about a broad variety of communications channels and how and when to use them and understands how the metrics matter regarding performance indicators, is preferred. Must possess superior verbal and written communication, strategic planning, presentation design and delivery, organizational, and influencing skills. A strong, demonstrated understanding of, and commitment to the mission and vision of Grove City College is essential. Grove City College graduates are encouraged to apply.
