Description: This position reports to the Director of Human Resources and has responsibility for serving as the plan administrator and managing the general administration of all College sponsored employee benefit and retirement plans including health, dental and vision insurances, life insurance, voluntary life insurance, voluntary short-term disability, voluntary critical illness, long-term disability, Section 125, 403(b) tax-deferred annuity, and pension plans. The chosen candidate will maintain the various administrative aspects of the plans listed including plan design and selection, procurement, enrollment, financial reporting, compliance with state and federal requirements and all day-to-day administrative duties.
This position is responsible for overseeing the annual preparation of 5500’s and preparing and distributing SAR’s, SPD’s, SMM’s and other forms as required by the plans, conducting benefits orientation for new hires and processing benefits paperwork for all resignations and retirements. The qualified candidate will assist in HR projects, and will administer the Tuition Grant program ensuring applications and invoices are processed within established timelines.
Requirements: A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Human Resources, or related field is required. Two (2) to five (5) years of related experience desired. The qualified candidate will have strong management, communication, and organizational skills. Skill in reading, analyzing, and summarizing business material. Interpersonal skills are necessary to interact effectively with students, colleagues, and administrators. Must be detailed oriented.
