Grove City College earned top spots in U.S. News & World Report’s 2027 Best Colleges rankings for value, overall quality, and the strength of its undergraduate teaching.
In addition to securing top 10 status in the region as a Best Value College (#3), a Top Private Private College (#4); and best overall (#6), the College is ranked third in a new category in the rankings: Best Undergraduate Teaching.
Grove City College is among the schools “whose faculty and administrators are committed to teaching undergraduate students in a high-quality manner,” U.S. News reported. Teaching is “a very important part of the undergraduate academic experience that is not always directly measured in a college's overall rank.”
Selection is based solely on peer reviews from presidents, provosts, and admissions deans from other colleges and universities in the northeast.
The ranking reflects the strength and commitment of Grove City College’s faculty, according to Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs Peter Frank ’95.
“The men and women who serve this college are unparalleled in their dedication as teachers and scholars. This is what makes Grove City such a special institution, the faculty believe that providing our students with excellent courses and academic mentoring is their most vital professional mission,” he said.
U.S. News also recognized the College’s Computer Science and Engineering programs as leaders in the undergraduate space.
