Congratulations on your acceptance to Grove City College!

 
You are cordially invited to Grove City College’s Admitted Student Day on March 28, 2015. This unique day is designed for students at every stage (whether you have submitted your deposit or not) of the college decision process. It’s an exceptional opportunity for admitted students and their families to get their questions answered and discover why nearly 2,500 students have decided to call Grove City College their home.

This day will further assist you in completing the next steps to becoming a future “Grover.” Included in the daylong event will be brief presentations and sessions on:
     • Getting involved with Student Life and Learning
     • Discovering your future calling through Career Services
     • Meeting with the academic Dean for your anticipated major
     • Learning from the experiences of current student and parent panels
     • Engaging with successful alumni
     • Meeting current and new students

You will also have the chance to tour residence halls, dine on campus and to conclude the day we will celebrate your acceptance at our Newsboys concert!

Whether you have already made a commitment to the College or you are still waiting to make a decision, this day is crafted especially for you!

Please Note:
     • Newsboys concert tickets Cost and how to register for the concert will be posted after Jan. 19.
     • Admitted Student Day does not take the place of Summer Preview or Orientation week.
     • For our local hotels, please notify them that you are attending a Grove City College Admissions Event and you will receive 10% off for your stay!

10-10:45 a.m. Meet with Student Life – Resident Directors
11 a.m.-Noon Meet & Greet
Noon-1 p.m. Lunch
1:15-2 p.m. Internships & Careers Panel – Career Services Office
2:15-3 p.m. ​Alumni Panel
3:15-4 p.m. Mock Class – Humanities and Science
4-5:30 p.m.





Explore Campus! Students and parents will have the following optional afternoon activities:
     • Student Organization Fair
     • College Bookstore
     • Financial Aid Office – Optional and walk-ins welcome
     • Campus Tour – Optional and by request
     • Connect with a Coach – Optional and by request

5-6:30 p.m.
Dinner with Deans of the Hopeman School and the Calderwood School. (Students and parents will divide into their “school” for a message and Q&A time with their Dean)

    Clothing is weather dependent. We recommend wearing comfortable shoes as you will be walking around campus.
