College to hold Unity in Diversity, Brown Bag Series

11/1/2013

Grove City College will present the Unity in Diversity, Brown Bag Series at noon on Tuesday, November 12, in Great Room of the Breen Student Union on campus.

The event is the first lunch of the year and is presented by the Office of Multicultural Recruiting and Retention (OMRR). Attendees are encouraged to bring their lunches to the event. The event is free and open to the public.

Ingrid Beute, intern at OMRR, will deliver the message: “Becoming Global Citizens, the Power of our Stories.”

The Office launched the series two years ago and it is designed to provide faculty, staff and students with the opportunity to hear and share different perspectives on a variety of topics relevant to campus. The program also serves to enrich communication and cultural awareness from different perspectives and cultivate positive relationships with others from a variety of backgrounds.

For more information about the series, contact Dr. Lorie Johnson-Osho, director of multicultural recruiting and retention and assistant at (724) 967-2683.
