Internships

The Department of Political Science at Grove City College assists students in gaining meaningful internships in government, policy, business and journalism. Recently, students have interned at:

     • Office of Public Liaison for former PA Governor Tom Corbett
     • Intercollegiate Studies Institute
     • Office of local Board of County Commissioners, Frederick County, MD
     • The American Spectator, Arlington, VA
     • The Livingston Group LLC, Washington, D.C.
     • TheBlaze TV, Broadcasting Internship, NYC
     • The Washington Times
     • United States Supreme Court
     • Private interest groups
     • State Department
     • The National Reconnaissance Office (an intelligence agency)
     • The Office of Naval Intelligence
     • Think-tanks such as the Heritage Foundation and more.

Our Washington Internship Program is available to students from all majors, following their sophomore year. Students can earn up to 12 credits for fall or spring semesters and may also be eligible for a three-credit independent study for that semester. Students may earn up to six credits for summer internships.
