French Major Leading to K-12 Certification in French​​​

Grove City College provides a solid foundation to students wishing to educate the young men and women of tomorrow. Students majoring in French leading to K-12 certification in French take courses specific to the education major, along with a core of liberal arts courses.

Specifically, majors in French leading to K-12 certification in French take 73 credit hours of major coursework and are exposed to real-life teaching situations during field experiences and student teaching and extra-curricular engagement with the department’s events and honoraries.

Students should refer to the College Bulletin​ for major status sheets and information regarding state-specific certification requirements that are additional to the curriculum.​

Internships

​Every student earning a Bachelor of Science degree in exercise science must complete an internship.

If you’re the type to really cast off the reins and explore an international university and culture on your own, the Office of International Education will pair you with the right program​.

 

After Graduation

Many education majors become certified and licensed teachers in Pennsylvania and other states, while many others take positions in unique teaching situations, missions work and other fields.

 

Chemistry and General Science Secondary Education Major

​In addition to completing 111 credit hours of major coursework, students are exposed to real-life teaching situations during field experiences and student teaching.​​
