Every student’s story is different, and how you choose to take advantage of the numerous opportunities to learn, grow and flourish is up to you. Each year, talented students from around the country bring their intellect, work ethic and enthusiasm to Grove City College and make the most of all the Department of Education and the campus have to offer. Research opportunities, unique work experiences and student clubs and organizations are just a few of the ways our students get involved.

B.S. in Middle Level (4-8) Science and English Education

​Along with 98 credit hours of major coursework, middle level (4-8) science/English education majors are exposed to real-life teaching situations during field experiences and student teaching.

Elementary Education

​​Studying elementary education at Grove City College prepares students to become leaders in the classroom—and in their profession at large​.

​The Bachelor of Science degree in middle level (4-8) math/English education provides a solid foundation to students wishing to educate the young men and women of tomorrow.​​

 

Spanish Major Leading to K-12 Certification in Spanish

Students majoring in Spanish leading to K-12 certification in Spanish take courses specific to the education major, along with a core of liberal arts courses.

 

 

Physics and General Science Secondary Education Major

​Students majoring in physics leading to 7-12 certification in physics/general science secondary education take courses specific to the education major, along with a core of liberal arts courses​.​

 

Undergraduate Research Opportunities

​All exercise science students are required to design, plan and execute a research project through EXER 407 Research Practicum.
