Undergraduate Research Opportunities

​The Department of Mechanical Engineering at Grove City College offers students multiple opportunities to conduct meaningful, relevant research alongside experienced, published faculty.​​

 

4 Year Plan

​The requierements for the Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering are met over a 4-year curriculum that starts with an exposure to the fundamentals of science and engineering and culminates in our senior capstone design experience.​​

 

Student Organizations

Students at Grove City College have the opportunity to join a wide variety of campus organizations including groups dedicated to engineering.   

Study Abroad for Engineers

​Approximately 40% of each graduating class in mechanical engineering at Grove City College completes the fall semester of their junior year at our 24-bed remote campus in Nantes, France. ​

 

Senior Capstone Design Project

​During his or her senior year, every mechanical engineering student takes part in a Capstone Design Project. Students work in groups to design and construct a useful and marketable device.​

 

Internships

​Over the past five years 84% of mechanical engineering graduates participated in summer internship work experiences. ​
