Minor in Computer Science

​Minor in Computer Science ​​​

Students complete 21 credit hours of course requirements to minor in computer science.  The minor provides students with an understanding of hardware and software concepts, structured program design, programming using C++, data structures and algorithms and computation theory.

B.S. Computer Science

​The major is designed to provide both a theoretical foundation and in-depth exploration of computer science topics, as well as intensive training in programming.

Internships

​Many of our students intern with technology companies and businesses across the country. Recently, students have interned at PPG, B3 Solutions, BAE Systems and TrueFit Solutions.

Computer Engineering Concentration

​ Students take a series of courses that offer in-depth study of advanced C++ programming, operating systems, microprocessors, software engineering and computer architecture.
